While a traditional clinic may jump-start the music making process or offer short term improvements, the flipped clinic is designed to help teachers improve their skills as educators. In the flipped clinic, Dr. Bland works with choral directors by observing a rehearsal (either in person or via recording) offering suggestions on ways to improve the student experience. It is recommended that a combination of both traditional and flipped clinics be utilized in order to achieve optimal learning outcomes.
